Creating a vital community with a thriving business core is of the upmost importance to the Lancaster Village government. We are working to improve the community by improving the business environment by helping existing businesses and attracting new ones.
The Lancaster Community Development Corporation was created in 1996 by the Village of Lancaster as a "not for profit" organization dedicated to the revival of the downtown central business district.

The Lancaster Industrial Park is a 52 acre site on Commerce Parkway (off of Central Avenue between Walden Ave. and Broadway) 1 to 9 acre fully improved sites are available. The entire area is zoned Light Industrial and is conveniently located only seven miles from downtown Buffalo, five miles from both the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport and the NYS Thruway and 15 miles from the Peace Bridge between the United States and Canada.
