Lilly Belle Meads
This week, we launch our new social media campaign "Support Local", that recognizes businesses throughout the Village of Lancaster. The first business we are recognizing is Lilly Belle Meads. Lilly Belle Meads was established in 2017 is located at 11 W. Main St.
Here are a few words from owners Tricia and Joe Marshall,
"Lilly Belle Meads was the first meadery in Erie County and are proud to call Lancaster home! We are a NYS Farm Meadery, meaning we use all New York State honey and source almost 100% of it locally! Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey. We make it in styles that are more wine like and higher in alcohol and also serve it carbonated on draft and in cans at around 5% ABV. Even though mead is made from honey, they are not all sweet! We make sweet meads for sure but also have a lot that are light and perfect for warm weather that are dry or with just a touch of sweetness. We recommend trying a "swarm" of 4 small pours to experience the different styles. We also have an innovative small plate kitchen and an extensive cocktail menu as well. Look for our 35 seat patio to be set up by the end of May and we look forward to bringing live music back in the near future!"
